If you are a novice then training courses are available and free regular hands-on sessions are held at the Association Apiary at Brackenhurst College, Southwell.
You may buy secondhand equipment at our Annual Auction or new equipment from the manufacturers.
Once you have paid your subscription you are covered for insurance purposes (Yes, things do go wrong even in beekeeping) up to £500,000.
If you are not sure about taking up beekeeping we can put you in contact with an experienced beekeeper in your area who can guide your first steps.
